No. We handle all government paperwork on your behalf — at origin in Canada and at the destination. You just provide a description of what you're sending.
Yes. The CAD price quoted at booking includes the customs duties and fees that we know apply at the time. Truly unexpected duties (very rare) would be communicated transparently.
Each destination has its own list. Generally restricted: weapons, drugs (except pre-approved medications), perishables, currency, certain electronics. Ask us if you're unsure — we'll confirm before you book.
We work directly with the local customs broker at destination to resolve issues. In most cases, we sort it out without you needing to do anything. If your action is required, we contact you immediately.
We focus on personal and family shipments. For commercial freight or business-volume shipments, contact us via WhatsApp and we'll let you know if we can help or refer you to a specialized broker.
We use the harmonized tariff codes that match what you're shipping (clothing, electronics, food, etc.). Our team has years of experience classifying personal-effect shipments to Latin America.
