Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Welcome to EasyCargo Express, an international shipping service operated by VoyagesEasy (hereinafter, «the company»). By contracting or using our services, you fully accept these Terms and Conditions. We recommend reading them carefully before placing any shipment.

1. Scope of Service

EasyCargo Express provides package shipping services from Montreal, Canada, to countries in Latin America, including Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and other available destinations. The service includes free package pickup at the customer's address in Montreal or Laval, international transportation, customs handling, and door-to-door delivery at the indicated destination.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By contracting our services through the online form, by phone, WhatsApp, or any other available means, you confirm that you have read and fully accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of the terms set forth herein, we ask that you do not use our services.

3. Rates and Payments

Rates are established based on weight, dimensions, destination, and the type of shipment (standard or express) selected at the time of the quote. The quoted price includes free pick-up service in Montreal and Laval, customs handling, and basic insurance.

There are no hidden charges beyond the quoted price, except in cases of force majeure or non-compliance by the customer. Payment is made entirely in Canadian dollars (CAD) by credit card, debit card, or Interac e-Transfer. The service is confirmed only after payment verification.

4. Shipping Process

Once payment is confirmed, the customer must ensure the package is properly packed and labeled. EasyCargo commits to picking up the shipment on the agreed date at the indicated address.

Delivery times are estimated and may be affected by external factors such as weather conditions, local holidays, customs delays, or force majeure. EasyCargo is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities in the destination country or by causes beyond its control.

5. Permitted and Prohibited Items

Permitted items include packages, clothing, electronics, non-perishable food, and medications (subject to destination country regulations and prior notice to EasyCargo). Medicine shipments to Cuba are subject to special conditions; please consult our team before placing the order.

Strictly prohibited are illegal items, controlled substances, weapons, explosives, perishable items requiring cold chain, and any goods whose export or import is restricted by Canadian or destination country laws. EasyCargo reserves the right to refuse any shipment that violates these restrictions, without right to refund if the rejection is due to information concealed by the customer.

6. Insurance and Liability

All shipments include basic insurance at no additional cost. In case of total loss or damage during transit attributable to EasyCargo, compensation is limited to the declared value of the contents at the time of shipment, with a maximum covered by the included basic plan.

For higher-value shipments, the customer can purchase additional insurance. EasyCargo is not responsible for damage caused by insufficient packaging done by the customer, nor for value losses inherent to fragile items not previously communicated.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

The customer may request cancellation of the shipment up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup date, with the right to a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to an administrative charge of up to 15% of the service value.

Once the package has been picked up and transport has begun, cancellations and refunds are not accepted, except in cases of total loss or serious damage attributable to EasyCargo, as stipulated in the insurance clause.

8. Limitation of Liability

EasyCargo shall not be liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, lost profits, or harm of any nature exceeding the declared value of the shipment. The maximum liability of the company is limited to the value of the contracted service or the declared value of the shipped goods, whichever is lower.

9. Modifications to These Terms

EasyCargo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the website. Continued use of our services after publication of changes implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from the use of our services will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
